7th INNING STRETCH:Twin Killing

The sequel to Game 7:Dead Ball... Marshall, Thomas, and more are back and facing new problems...

Sometimes good people do bad things... Sometimes bad things happen to good people... And sometimes, people are just plain bad...

Major League Baseball umpire Marshall Connors is trying to regroup and get his life back to something resembling normal... After surviving the World Series and the wrath of a psychotic revenge-hungry killer, Marshall wants nothing more than a return to the simplicity of the game he loves… and to discover the love of the woman he’s fallen for.

John King isn’t really a bad person, but a few loose wires make him seem so... He, too, is looking for normalcy, but disgraced and fired by the FBI, King must battle a hoarde of personal demons to get there... A new job gives him hope, but the demons return thanks to several unexplained deaths… and all fingers point to King.

As King fights the beasts in his head, he discovers another monster, one more vicious and dangerous than he could imagine... Before the walls of his world completely collapse, he makes a last desperate attempt for salvation… and Marshall finds himself once again in the middle of a game he would rather not play.

With the help of his best friend, Thomas Hillsborough--ex-CIA spy--Marshall can only play along and hope a solution arrives in time, before the end of the 7th Inning Stretch.

Why I wrote it...

GAME 7:Dead Ball gave life to these characters and I wanted to tell more of their stories. Given Marshall's propensity for finding trouble... and Thomas's skills at solving problems... it's likely these guys will be back again.

Where it fits in the marketplace...

This is a "mystery/suspense" novel, but there is plenty of romance and action to hold the interest of both male and female readers. You don't have to be a sports fan to enjoy the ride.
